Facial Reflexology – helping you look good and feel fabulous!

Are you looking for a treatment that feels as pampering as an amazing facial but actually is a deeply powerful holistic treatment?

Are you looking for a treatment that can help find imbalances in the body, provide tools to help overcome them and then gently bring the body back into balance?

If you answer YES to any of the above questions then read more to find out how this combination of ancient eastern wisdom and modern neuro-anatomy can help you!

What is Facial Reflexology

By Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem ™ is a unique and relatively new form of holistic therapy that was created through the work and research of Lone Sorensen some 35 years ago.

Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem ™ combines Chinese acupuncture points, energy meridians, South American and Vietnamese facial maps, with up to date nerve maps of the face derived from the study of neuro-anatomy. This combination enables the therapist to identify health imbalances within the client and provides a series of tools to use within the treatment to enable the body to rebalance itself.

Alongside its therapeutic depth, the treatment supports lymphatic drainage, softens facial tension, and leaves the skin glowing. Organic rosehip oil is used throughout, chosen for its exceptional radiance-enhancing properties. The treatment will leave you feeling calm, glowing and rejuvenated.

Facial and Neuro-Foot-Reflexology Trauma Relief Method

This a specialised protocol within Facial Reflex Therapy, designed to support the body and nervous system following periods of trauma, severe stress and deep emotional overwhelm.

The treatment uses precise, gentle manual stimulation of specific reflex points and microsystems across the face, scalp and feet. By working with these interconnected reflex zones, the therapy aims to encourage the body’s natural capacity to release tension, restore balance and support emotional wellbeing.

The method developed by Lone Sorensen draws on a number of established microsystem approaches and the work of respected practitioners and researchers from around the world, including Dr Yamamoto (YNSA), Japan; Dr Castillo Morales, Argentina; Dr Wong, USA; Dr Chau, Vietnam; Maria Perez, Argentina; and Dr J. Bossy, France.

Supporting the nervous system and emotional balance

Trauma and prolonged stress can leave the body feeling as though it is constantly on alert. The Bipolar Method works with reflex points associated with the brain and nervous system, with the intention of helping the body move towards a greater sense of calm, regulation and balance.

As the nervous system begins to settle, many people describe feeling more grounded, relaxed and able to think more clearly. The treatment can provide valuable space to switch off from the demands of everyday life, reconnect with yourself and create a greater sense of inner calm and clarity.

This is a deeply restorative treatment that recognises the connection between mind, body and emotions, supporting you to move forward with greater ease, energy and awareness.
